On behalf of Tessa's Black Entertainment & Youth Center, Inc. I would like to thank you for becoming a sponsor again for TBEY's 2014 "A Journey Through Dance" summer concert.
It's remarkable how the Milwaukee and arts community has gotten behind our effort to serve youth who are without an ongoing arts education program for over 13 years. We've been able to provide professional arts training to over 500 children and young adults with the help of over 35 community artists and with generous gifts from supporters. We like to think of these supporters as "TBEY Stars."
Each year TBEY, Inc. continues to advance its mission to operate and maintain an art's youth program that strengthens youth and young adults through exposure to the arts and opportunities for creative expression. Youth and young adults ages 6-19 receive professional arts instruction, enjoy performances and exhibits, and receive tutoring, mentoring and coaching to achieve academically and pursue their interest in the arts.
With the help of donations from supporters such as Hupy and Abraham, S.C., youth express themselves and are able to show off their talents to their community this summer. Also, TBEY was also able to help promote dance awareness in Milwaukee. TBEY appreciates the opportunity to work with Hupy and Abraham, S.C.
