Dozens of local boat owners donated their time, and yachts, to give “Wish Kids” and their families boat rides around Milwaukee’s McKinley Marina. The entire day’s proceeds went to Make-a-Wish Wisconsin and the event helped raise funds to grant wishes for local children.
Make-A-Wish Wisconsin grants wishes of children ages 2½ to 18 with life-threatening medical conditions. Granting these wishes helps kids feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle these dangerous medical conditions. The organization also strives to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy for them and their families. In 2015, Attorney Abraham accepted a position on the “Yacht Blast for Kids” executive board.
