Dear Hupy and Abraham,
Thank you for supporting the NEXT ADVENTURE at the 2015 Black-N-Blue Ball. This was another record-breaking year, raising $912,898 net for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. More than 1,300 guests clad in “black” leather and “blue” denim participated in raising this astonishing amount of money.
The funds raised through the Black-N-Blue Ball, which was held on May 8th, offers both help and hope to individuals and families served by the Muscular Dystrophy Association in ways sometimes hard to measure. Funds help provide comprehensive medical care at the MDA’s local clinics, valuable resources at support groups, independence and freedom with equipment like wheelchairs and communications devices, and lasting memories through the MDA Summer Camp. It also supports a worldwide research program, which is finding treatments and searching for cures for over 40 neuromuscular diseases covered under the MDA umbrella.
