Dr. Ming You, Director of The Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center, is leveraging our efforts that began in 1998 with a gift of $42,000. The cumulative gift to date from our all-volunteer organization is $5.1 million. Our funding has enabled the researchers we support to leverage our awards into an additional $37.6 million in competitive external funding. In addition, the WBCS Breast Cancer Research Professorship pledge of $1 million to facilitate recruitment of a nationally renowned scientist is virtually complete.
