The Concordia University Wisconsin and American Legion Post 1881 sent Hupy and Abraham, S.C. a thank you for its sponsorship of two veteran students at the Second Annual “Take a Vet Hunting Event.”
“Take a Vet Hunting” took place March 4, 2016, in Cascade, Wisconsin and was an opportunity for community members to thank those who have served our country. Concordia University Wisconsin supports its alumni who have served in the past. The university currently has more than 300 students who are also military veterans.
“The opportunity provided by our Friends of Concordia for our CUW Veterans helps bring our communities together. Veterans had an opportunity to share their personal stories and our hosts were able to build new relationships, network and simply say ‘thank you for your service.’ Mr. Hupy was a major part of the success of this event and we all can’t wait to do this again in the near future as we get more veterans involved,” said Eduardo Garza, Director of Veterans Services at Concordia.
After attending and sponsoring an event earlier this year, Attorney Hupy committed to sponsoring two students for the March pheasant hunt. Hupy and Abraham, S.C. has donated more than $500,000 to more than 250 worthwhile causes in the past 3 years, including educational and veterans organizations.
