As soon as possible, you should report the slip and fall to either the property owner where the fall happened, or the manager if your fall happened at a commercial establishment.  Incident reports can contain valuable information regarding the details of the fall which can provide details at a later date.  If possible, ask to review the incident report to check its accuracy before leaving the scene of your fall.
