In December 2010, Hupy and Abraham’s client was driving on a four-lane street in Manitowoc, WI when she was T-boned by a driver who tried to cross all four lanes of traffic. The other driver caused a forceful collision with our client, who suffered serious wrist injuries requiring surgery.

The insurance company argued that the at-fault driver could not see the traffic because of the high snowbanks. They also argued that our client’s wrist pain was a pre-existing condition. Based on those arguments, they offered $8,500 to settle the case. Hupy and Abraham rejected that offer and filed a lawsuit. After the deposition, the insurance company again offered $8,500 to settle the case. Attorney Robert Domol again rejected that offer and ultimately secured a $55,000 settlement.
