Wisconsin Recalls of Three Johnson & Johnson Medicines

Tired of prescription and over-the-counter drug recalls?  You are not alone and Johnson & Johnson has just announced a new round of product recalls.  All of the affected medicines are available without a prescription in Wisconsin and across the nation.  The recalled products include:

  • Children's Benadryl Allergy Fastmelt Tablet
  • Junior Strength Motrin Caplets
  • Extra Strength Rolaids softchews

The large corporation has stated that the recall only affects the wholesale and retail level of distributing and that consumers can still use the recalled products.  The recall is reported to be part of a large scale manufacturing process review and it follows many others over the past year.  The issues involved with Benadryl and Motrin were "unspecified" and the Rolaids softchews were recalled due to an unusual texture reported by consumers.

As a consumer it is crucial that you report any irregularities or adverse side effects to both your doctor and the FDA.  Reporting these events is extremely important to keeping you safe and possibly preventing further harm from the drug, prescription or not.

As Milwaukee, Wis. class action lawsuit attorneys we know the power of speaking up; of acting as a group and having your voice heard.  If you believe that you have been harmed or a loved one has died because of a bad drug or defective medical device please do not hesitate to contact an experienced lawyer today.  As always, the consultation is free and the legal advice second to none.
